Maxxima Wall Mount PIR Occupancy Sensor for Residential Use

The wall-mounted occupancy sensor utilizes passive infrared (PIR) technology to detect movement in the surrounding area and automatically turn the lights on and off based on motion in the room. It is ideal for 120V residential applications, including entryways, hallways, closets, storage areas, attics, utility rooms, garages, or any other location that requires a light or fan to be active while occupied.

The PIR sensor identifies changes in the infrared energy emitted by occupants as they move within the coverage area. When occupancy is detected, a self-contained relay switches the connected load on. An internal timer automatically turns off the load after a selectable period of inactivity, ranging from 18 seconds to 10 minutes. This sensor also features adjustable sensitivity, time delay, and light level settings, allowing for customization based on the specific application.

The sensor can be mounted at heights up to 8.2 feet and has an adjustable coverage range from 6.5 to 26 feet, with a 180-degree detection angle. Sensitivity, time delay, and ambient light settings can be adjusted using the dials on the bottom of the unit.

It is compatible with LED, incandescent, electronic ballast fluorescent, compact-fluorescent (CFL), magnetic low-voltage (MLV), and electronic low-voltage (ELV) light sources, with a maximum load of 1000W for incandescent and 150W for LED. The operating temperature range is -23°F to 104°F.
